The Fellowship
Carbon180 is committed to making a prosperous, carbon-conscious economy a reality. In addition to the support of policymakers, we believe it will require entrepreneurs who are able to identify groundbreaking carbon-centric solutions, leverage experience to develop viable business plans, and successfully take them to market. The Entrepreneur-in-Residence Fellowship is designed to support these visionary leaders in becoming carbon removal innovators through a program designed to:
Accelerate learning of carbon removal technologies and opportunities
Make introductions to deep industry and technical networks
Provide a funded runway while they study, design and test new carbon removal business models
Why apply?
Participants will work hand-in-hand with the Carbon180 team for a period of 12 months, receiving mentorship from carbon removal and carbontech experts. Investors, corporate strategists and entrepreneurs will be on-hand to help refine the technology, business models, and go-to-market strategies, resulting in a fully formed and vetted carbontech business plan by the end of the fellowship.
Fellowship participants will:
Receive a $100,000 non-dilutive fellowship to learn about and confidently enter the carbon-removal industry (Teams of two receive $125,000)
Gain access to optional office space for one year at Carbon180 offices in Oakland, CA or Washington, DC
Be paired with a mentor from Carbon180’s mentor network of seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts
